Buying Station VS Small Animal Auction

Buying stations are the 2nd Saturday of the month.  If you have animals that you are interested to sale. You come between 8AM until Noon and the guys operating the buying station weighs and/or evaluates your goat/sheep and then offers the price they will pay.  You CAN accept or decline.  If accept they write you a check and you go on your way.  They only take goat/sheep ONLY.   They are bonded and trustworthy.

The small animal auction you can bring animals to sale, but you also can sit through the auction and buy animals as well.    Scroll down for more information.  The cafe is open starting at 11:00 am for lunch.

SEPTEMBER 26, 2026 SMALL ANIMAL SALE

SMALL ANIMAL SALE SEPTEMBER 26, 2026

We will be having a SMALL ANIMAL SALE this Saturday the 26th of Sept.  We will sale chickens, goats, and sheep, specialty cows, i.e. Highlanders.

  • NO POT BELLY Pigs or Koun Koun Pigs or mini swine.
  • Any donkeys/equine must bring recent Coggins or pay $45 for one.
  • Chickens have to be in a suitable crate/pen.  There are limited number of chicken crates for $2.50 per crate. More than one chicken can go in one crate.  No cardboard boxes
  • NO sickly or traded animals will be unloaded.
  • Drop off starts at 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM if in line by 11:00 you can be included in start of sale.  If late you will go at the end of sale.
  • Goats/Sheep will sale starting at 12 Noon in the arena.  Chickens start at 1:00 pm in the end of the barn. Unload chickens at end of barn.
  •  If you buy chickens, you cannot pick up until chicken sale is over
  • Bring paid receipt back, give to lady at chicken sale. Guys will get them for you. People are not allowed to pick their own crates out.
  • If only purchasing goats, they can be paid for and loaded by employees only once paid for.
  • Prepare to bring cash to purchase.  Cards sales are accepted with 3% fee added.  
  • We ask for your cooperation with this sale we are trying to make it more efficient and not have unpaid/leftover animals.  
  • Commission for chickens is 25% of sale - Max of $50
  • Sheep/Goats have commission range. Up to $150=$15, $151 to $250 $20, Over $250 $25 no yardage.  
  • You can pick up your check after your animal sales if you are not here a check will be mailed on Monday following the sale.
